Riding Hood’s varieties have good basal branching and thick glossy leaves. Their bell shaped flowers cover the slender stems. The Series includes the following varieties: ‘Blue’, ‘Delft Blue’, ‘Hot Pink’, ‘Lavender’, ‘Marble Cream’, ‘Purple’ and ‘Red’. All plants grow up to 45cm (18") and spread to 60cm (24”) wide. They are native to the Rocky Mountains and Southwest USA.

This striking novelty offers a superb garden and container performance. Red Riding Hood’s varieties flower perpetually all summer. They can be left in bed for garden décor or used as a cut flower. They are also drought tolerant.
